Read your own text word by word on your phone

Add your own text or a TXT file on your phone, read word by word, open paragraph context, and continue from your saved position.

Fastreader works in a mobile browser without installing an application. Open the secure address fastreader.ru. Use a modern browser to read and save materials; your phone’s library is separate from your computer’s.

How to add your own text on a phone

On the homepage, tap “Add your own text”. Paste a note from the clipboard or choose a UTF-8 TXT file up to 2 MB. When pasting, check the paragraphs: copying from documents can introduce unwanted line breaks. A title will help you find the material in the list.

Before leaving, check the meeting time. Save the address and your list of questions separately so that you can find them easily before the conversation.

Open the example as your own text. Select “Word by word” and start the display. Tap the word to pause it. Tap “Context” to open a separate window showing the paragraph with the current position highlighted. Read it, close the window, and tap the word to continue from that point.

Adjust the screen to suit you

• Use the buttons beside the pace to decrease or increase words per minute.
• In settings, choose the size and font for the full text and context.
• Try the light or dark appearance, or the “Paper” theme.
• If an idea is awkward to read one word at a time, switch to “Text”.

Judge your chosen font size on a real paragraph, and the pace by whether you can explain the paragraph afterward. If a word is too long, the application pauses. Open “Context”, read the word, close the window, and continue manually.

Returning after a break

Moving to another tab pauses the display. After a reload, a successfully saved material also opens paused. Look at the context before continuing. Do not use private browsing as permanent storage: its data may disappear when the session closes.

Open your own texts with the menu button at the top of the reader. On a narrow phone screen, the list appears separately from the reading area. Choose the material you need and check its title.

Keep the current version’s limits in mind

Your position does not transfer automatically from your computer. The page is also not designed to guarantee offline use after closing the browser: it is an ordinary website rather than an installed offline reader. Keep the original note or TXT file separately. You do not need to enable analytics to read.
